On a day I was feeling gray

And Looking at my BluRay

I decided to search for a DVD

That would brighten up my day.

Then I suddenly remembered

That in the middle of November

I bought a collection

That surely was an exception.

The star of this was Benny Hill

And not against my will

I played the first disc

And the image was very crisp

The baby faced comedian

Made fun even of Indians

He made me laugh using a paper or a bottle

And my favorite is Mr. Scuttle

After fifty years making us laugh

Working with a very talented staff

Problems with his heart and weight

Made him expire at sixty eight

It’s been years since he left us

And for comedy he was a great loss

Who mourns for Benny Hill?

You can bet I’ll always will.
